
Sarkis Tatosian along with his Uncle Baykar and daughter Tierney headed to India for a week of rug buying.
They visited Varanasi, Jaipur, Agra and Delhi, starting their journey in the holy city of Varanasi which is the oldest living city in the world. It is home to the Ganges River where cremations and ceremonies are held. Varanasi is the largest producer of rugs in India.
Then, they headed to Jaipur which is not only known for beautiful rugs, but jewelry as well. In Delhi, they attended the CEPC Carpet fair where we selected rugs from some of the finest weavers in the world.
The trip concluded with a visit to the magnificent Taj Mahal in Agra, one of the seven wonders of the world.
