Recently, our rugs were chosen in two separate renovation projects and are both featured in the February issue of Modern Luxury Interiors

First, in the article “The Art of Design“, Michael Miller of Centaur Interiors transformed a Streeterville condo to feature the owner’s extensive art collection. Working with only 1,300 sq ft of space, the strategy was to create a minimalistic and sleek white backdrop which would in turn allow the artwork to pop. A “billboard size” photograph of a deer from Paul McCarthy is prominently on display in the living room which also houses a large area rug from our collection.

Then, in “Savoir Flair“, James Thomas Interiors tackles a 3,200 sq ft condo for a couple who wanted their new West Loop condo to represent the next chapter in their lives. The pair also wanted their existing antiques and eclectic art pieces (including a large moose head) to be featured. Inspiration was drawn from Commander Waterford’s office in The Handmaid’s Tale, and peacock blue is used throughout their home along with gold accents. An Argentina hide rug from our collection adds interest to the entry corridor.

Thank you to both designers for choosing to include our rugs in your recent projects, and congratulations on the feature!
