Oscar Tatosian recently returned from a one week trip to Armenia. During the trip he made selective rug purchases and attended to Church affairs in his role as the Chairman of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of America headquartered in New York City. Oscar is delighted about his latest unique finds. These Armenian inscribed kilim rugs, woven between 1920 – 1930, feature geometric design details which fit comfortably in both contemporary and traditional interiors. Oscar was part of a delegation which convened to review the fundamental principles of the Universal Armenian Church last discussed in 1907- those in attendance included representatives from Australia, North America, South America, Europe and the Middle East. Oscar typically makes trips to Armenia four to five times per year. Oscar’s latest finds will arrive at Oscar Isberian Rugs stores in the coming weeks.
