As longtime patrons of the arts, we are so excited to have donated a rug for the strikingly handsome set of Northlight Theatre’s latest production, “Mothers and Sons,” running from Jan. 22 – Feb. 27, 2016 at 9501 Skokie Blvd., Skokie, IL.
The poignant Terrance McNalley play, directed by Steve Scott, takes place in a New York City apartment. Almost 20 years after the death of her gay son, Katherine pays a visit to his former partner’s home and confronts the life her son might have had. The piece reflects the changing definitions of family and acceptance.
The story is “eloquent, exceptionally timely and resonant,” according to the Chicago Tribune. To buy tickets or for more information, visit: www.northlight.org.
