Oscar Isberian Rugs goes “About Town.”

From Issue 73 of Modern Luxury Interiors Chicago, the American Society of Interior Designers’ Illinois Chapter hosted its annual Celebration of Design last September to announce the 2021 Design Excellence Awards. In the ceremony held in the Merchandise Mart, Oscar Isberian Rugs was recognized in the category of Rugs, Carpets, and Floor Covering.

Receiving the award was our own Sarkis Tatosian. Thank you to the ASID and congratulations to all the incredible designers and artisans recognized. To see all the categories read “About Town” on page 122.

Also in the issue, the Oscar Isberian Rugs crew gathers for a good cause at the annual fundraiser Spirit of Design. Hosted by Design for Dignity, the event took place in the scenic Lincoln Park venue, Theater on the Lake and drew a crowd of over 400 guests, including Sevak Alaverdyan of Oscar Isberian Rugs, shown on pg. 116. In the end, over $200,000 was raised to fund the revitalization of communal spaces in Chicagoland. To read more about the event, check out “Come Together” in Modern Luxe Interiors Volume III 2022.
