Check us out in the March 2021 edition of Luxe Interiors and Design!
In the article “Begin Again”, a new to Chicago couple renovated their dream home after their 1897 house caught fire only 6 months after moving in. Devastated for their losses but grateful that no one was harmed, the couple set out to rebuild the historic building by honoring the original architect, Harvey L. Page.
“The idea was to have it feel very American and open, but with French and Victorian influences.” said Guinevere Johnson of Third Coast Interiors, the designer hired for the task.
For the interiors, inspiration was drawn from Natasha, the home owner’s, family. New Orleans flair from her mother’s hometown paired with Damask textiles as a nod to her seamstress grandmother, and an abundance of libraries (4 in total), one which houses her father’s book collection.
Thank you to for choosing to include our rugs in your recent project, and congratulations on the feature!
