Oscar Isberian Featured in Luxe Interiors: An Upscale Princess Retreat Defined by Timeless Comfort
This Chicago landmark residence was meant to stay in the family, and when the client purchased it from her parents, she knew her childhood home needed updates to fit her current style. Designer Jessica LaGrange, in collaboration with architect Michael Viamontes and builder Anthony DiVittorio, crafted an upscale retreat filled with warm touches and timeless appeal, marrying the client’s desire for “a princess retreat” with elegant, classic, and tasteful design.
A welcoming atmosphere is imbued throughout every room, making each a purposeful destination within the home. Moody greens and burgundies play with soft pinks, creating a sense of comfort. The lake beckons from outside impressive windows, its bright blue a contrast to the soft tones inside, highlighting the home as a sanctuary for its residents. Modern elements, including eye-catching brass furnishings and an impressive marble backsplash, add elegance and a timeless nature to the design, while vintage furniture softens the contemporary features. In the living room, a custom Oscar Isberian Rug is the centerpiece, adding warmth and a personal touch to the off-white oasis.
Each room is thoughtfully designed to blend contemporary decor with family heirlooms, merging the residence’s past with its new future. The result is an enhanced and refined home with a focus on livability and atmosphere.
