After 2 years of renovations, the Governor’s Mansion has finally reopened in Springfield. This 3500 sq ft home underwent a complete overhaul with the help from private donors.

In their refurbishment, two rugs from Oscar Isberian Rugs were chosen to highlight two rooms; in the Governor’s office, a wool sarouk rug from Iran spans the room, and the Reception Room houses a wool hand woven Indo Kashan rug with an intricate floral design. We’re honored to have been chosen to participate in the renovations of this Illinois landmark!
