
Day 1 Survivors hosted their annual Bocce Ball fundraiser at the Wilmette Harbor Club on Saturday, June 10.
A great turnout of guests were treated to delicious food and drink while enjoying live music from the Sean McKee Band. Oscar Isberian Rugs was proud to contribute a hand-knotted wool and silk Nepalese rug to the silent auction. It was a huge success for a great cause. The mission of Day 1 Survivors is to help anyone facing a cancer diagnosis from DAY 1. At the Lurie Cancer Center, patients not only see their oncologist they get a team of doctors to help them thrive through therapy. The multi-disciplinary approach with a nutritionist and heart doctor as well as mental health experts, allow patients to remain healthy and tolerate treatment longer.
