Project Spotlight: Newmark’s Chicago Reception at Salesforce Tower

A welcoming office begins with a thoughtful first impression. At Newmark’s Chicago offices in the landmark Salesforce Tower at Wolf Point, the reception area brings together sculptural furniture, textured finishes, and a patterned rug installed by Oscar Isberian Rugs.

The rug gives the seating area a distinct sense of place. Its flowing geometric pattern introduces movement, while a subtle gray palette connects the blue-gray upholstery, black furniture bases, and dark reception backdrop. Against the surrounding wood flooring, it defines a comfortable gathering space for arriving guests.

The balance between pattern and simplicity is central to the room’s appeal. The rug adds depth beneath the clean-lined furnishings, complementing the architectural details and prominent Newmark signage. Together, these elements create a reception area that feels polished and inviting.

Oscar Isberian Rugs is proud to have installed the rug for this Chicago workplace—a project that illustrates the role a rug can play in bringing an interior together.
